Where do you call home?
I live in Jersey City, NJ. I'm a Jersey native, and moved back here from Brooklyn in 2020.
What’s something you’re working on right now that’s lighting you up?
I'm especially psyched to be working with Amy on the Niteswim site ☻
I'm so grateful that I truly enjoy my work with brands on their websites and online identities, and I get to work with exceptionally talented women doing cool stuff like Sarah Magid of Knead Love Bakery and intimacy coordinator + creative producer Allie Oops.
There's something magical about the ritual of burning candles that brings me peace.
What’s one thing you’ve recently let go of to feel more at ease?
I'm a pretty patient person, but when pushed my anger can be fierce. When I feel myself getting emotional negatively, I stop and have the fight with myself first and try to see the other persons side before lashing out. It's definitely leading to more peace at home.
Do you have any favorite at home rituals?
I'm known to keep a running repository of candles. I love earthy and musky scents. I'll light candles while I'm working to make it feel less like an "office" and more of a creative space.
There's something magical about the ritual of burning candles that brings me peace. While their fragrance is delightful, it's the act itself—the striking of a match, the gentle flicker of flame, the slow melting of wax—that creates these serene moments in my life.
What’s your perfect bath setup—how do you make it feel extra special?
A few years back I requested bath accessories for the holidays, a little spa tray and a pillow. I get nestled in with typically a cup of tea and a book, add a salt or soak (Nite-In would be my preference), dim the lights (dimmers in a bathroom are my #1 home renovation recommendation), and light a candle.
My husband knows that's my me time and lets me be to read or think or listen to music.
